No animals are kept overnight at this practice however MiNightVets in Omagh will offer this service. Please see more information below’.
Outside of normal working hours our phone lines will be answered by a company called Equicomms, these receptionists are all trained In the veterinary industry. Please ring our practice number 028 85567150 in all emergency cases. The first pre-recorded message is from one of our staff informing you that your call will now be answered by Equicomms and you will receive a call back from one of our vets on call.
If the Out of Hours call is of a small animal nature, Equicomms will divert the call directly to MiNightVet Omagh. All associated costs and the implications of referral will be fully discussed with the owner by the MiNightVet staff.
MiNightVet Omagh is our preferred emergency services partner. They are a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. Their qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care. Their support allows our vets to be fully refreshed for the day shift.

Please be aware that our night service is for emergency cases only. Routine cases and queries can be addressed during normal clinic hours.
Clients should be aware that we consider it in the best interests of the injured animal to be seen at the emergency clinic, rather than at home in order to provide effective and rapid treatment. This is because our clinics are well stocked with the equipment and medication as well as the staff required to deliver fast, effective emergency care.
Please note:
- The BSL SignVideo service is available at MiNightVet during the following core hours: Monday to Friday 8pm – 8am; Weekends Saturday from 1pm to Monday 8am; and Bank Holidays 24-hours.
- Healthy Pet Club members receive 10% off MiNightVet products or services.
- An out-of-hours consultation fee payable at the time of consultation will be charged. Please ask when you call for the current fee.
